...i started the quiz yesterday but got tied up doing something I should have
been doing but it looked a bit tricky!!

And that after having passed the 11+ with an A a year early at primary - if I
may be so immodest to say.

If I recall, there wasn't much study involved, rather a LOT of past papers
where you quickly picked up the knack of spotting the patterns, logic etc etc.

Btw, I went down to the Atlético vs Celtic game last night....dear oh dear, a
case of men against boys. The big two from the SPL have GOT to join the English
league ASAP, even if it's the flamin' conference or the 4th tier. If they could
avoid crowd trouble, it would be great for all concerned.

wholeheartedly agree Leslie Minor, I did A level maths (failed) but nowadays
even my youngest Daughters quadratic equations get me confused. The only
thing I'm better at than them in mental arithmetic, and since today everyone
has computers and phones its pretty much like latin, useful but ultimately
pointless. The big difference today imho is that teachers & schools are
forced to take an interest in the majority of kids, in my day if YOU didn't
care they didn't. Nowadays its all reports, tests, interventions etc etc
etc.

Sean lock - funniest man in comedy? Have you watched 15 Storeys High?

ttfn

Richard
