Wayne, Anyone who was at the Leeds v Coventry semi-final the year earlier (or was it 2 years earlier) could quite easily tell you the truth and I think your assessment is bang on. There was a crush outside , the police opened the gates , everyone had a ticket and everyone got it but it was the most crushed you could ever be at a match and still be concsious. If you add a thousand ticketless fans to that then a disaster will happen. The ground design was a major factor for me. That tunnel to the stand was ridiculous. I'm not sure what the truth is that the families are asking for ? Is it the fact that police let ticketless fans to get near the ground ? Is it the fact they opened the gates and shouldn't have ? or is it the fact that the ground was badly desinged ? or are all the above 'the truth' ?

Irrespective of if the police opened gates to alleviate the crush, the blame lies squarely with the cnuts that went there without tickets and tried to get in....IMHO regards Wayne [email protected] wrote: There's a petition I'd like you all to consider signing, it's been signed by over 20,000 people already.
