To me , and I suspect 99% of those who go to games, the paragraph from RIch
(below) sums it all up.Yes we are in a poor Division (one that should be
easy(ish) to get out of for a team of our stature) Yes we are in a play off
position. Yes there are other teams just as bad or worse than us BUT there is
nothing there at the moment, we are a ghost club, a club and supporters going
through the motions.Unlike Rich I always try and defend the players and the
team as a whole - to me it is simple Leeds players- heroes, non Leeds players -
villains.I like to think that I have kept most of my optimism over the last
hard years but it has all but  evaporated now. The mood around the place seems
to me worse than the 2 relegation seasons, yes, it really is that bad.
It may be that SG is a little unfortunate at the moment in that our away form
is very good and it is our home form that is shocking. Maybe if it were the
other way round things would appear better. The lad who sits in front of me
actually sent a letter to Grayson after the Barnsley defeat - the one and only
time in his 20+ years as a ST holder that he has been pushed into doing so,
complaining about the lack of passion on the pitch.Whether it is Bates, over
zealous stewards, perceived -real?- lack of investment, sterile atmosphere in
modern grounds, expensive prices, weariness at spending so long out of the top
flight or some other reason or a culmination of them all, but whatever, things
are bad at ER, as bad as I can ever remember and I have been going since 1975
and had a ST since 1987-88. Yes things ARE really that bad.So I will finish
this rant as I started it - read below what RIch has said and believe that that
is the general consensus of the match
 going public at ER !!Dave

Iit's all just gone to pieces and there'll be people who weren't there
yesterday who will say stop moaning we're still in the top 6 but I think the
lack of passion both on and off the pitch is the worse I've seen for a while.
SOmething has to give.
