I appreciate Beechio's goals but clearly I see him as one of the first players
I would replace as I progressed up the leagues and faced better quality
footballers. The player is a clod and does lack what I consider to be the basic
skill levels of a upper tier professional footballer. He is floundering this
season purely because he does not possess the talent to compete consistently at
this level.
Even without a certified coaching badge I can identify what a trap is, and it's
not bouncing the ball off your shin and then chasing it...even thought Carlton
Palmer was able to garner some England caps with this unique "skill".
