I've watched Howson closely since he emerged and yes he has disappointed at 
times but I firmly believe he is a player that will improve when he plays with 
better players and against better opposition. He has the ability to reach a 
very high level.

As for Steve Gerrard -a one trick pony ? Disagree. best midfielder in the land. 
As for Lampard, never rated him and never good enough for England.
