Ooops.

I meant to say that going to Elland Road has been an expensive, unpleasant
experience for the last few months. The atmosphere around the club (not
just on match day) is really unpleasant. I also think that some people
don't realise how many out of towners go to Elland Road - look at the
coaches in the carpark - Plymouth Whites, Kent Whites, Essex Whites,
Hampshire Whites - travel costs, ticket prices, awful football (for the
most part - yesterday's performance was excellent I thought) and the
general economic climate is hitting hard.

As an exiled yorkshireman, I travel up from London - factoring in my season
ticket (which I'm not renewing), train costs, spending money, I easily
spend at least £100 (£70 before beer and food) every match day. And it's
just not worth it at the moment. It's not just the state of the club that's
putting people off, but in the current climate, it's certainly helping to
keep people away.
