Dave Pissed on my Parade about the yoof.
>Trouble is White is (at present) refusing to sign his new contract - where >have we heard that one before?- and so will probably not be here next season. >Lees does look a good prospect. Parker is too injury prone to ever make it , >in my opinion. >I thought Saints at home, despite the result was the best we have played this >season, but under Grayson we were very capable of some great performances but >could not do it consistently, with the defence so often letting us down. It is >much too early to say whether Warnock has sorted >that but 3 clean sheets in 4 games is certainly a step in the right direction Actually according to YP he hasn't been offered a new one since the original was rejected, WTF is going on! PREMIERSHIP clubs were reported today to be circling around Leeds and Ireland player Aidan White as his elland road contact nears its end. Two clubs sent scouts to watch White against Middlesbrough on Sunday with a view to snapping him up at the end of June. White, 20, is approaching the end of a long-term deal agreed with Leeds in 2007 after leaving the club’s academy. Leeds would be entitled to compensation if he joins another English club this summer. He set up the opening goal during an impressive display in Sunday’s 2-0 victory, prompting praise from new manager Neil Warnock, who previously moved him from defence to right wing. Warnock said: “I fancied him in that position when I first saw him. I don’t think he did or my staff. But he’s quite capable if he keeps believing and scores a few goals himself.” White is not believed to have received an improved offer from Leeds since rejecting an initial approach. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
