Unlike all else.. sudden feeling of another disappointment on the way.
I think that we all --- myself included are living too much on the last
result -whatever it may be.
The bottom line id we're better under Colin. And can go up. Ideally to stay
up.
There is no way that we can go up with this
team without coming straight back down again.
To get into the playoffs to lose IMO is not a good idea.
We have maybe a nucleus of a team to build around that could challenge and
stay up.
But that means White staying and some astute summer signings.
I don't include Snodgras as I hope he'll stay but if not we'll replace him
with the money we get for him. The one major change that we've seen IMO is
the fact that MS cannot jerk Colin off about war chests. Anfd Colin's
acquisitions will be better than SG's.
So I am reasonably confident about next year. We have a solid defense a mid
field that need a wee bit of bolstering and a decent attack.
I have no expectations for this season apart from it ending. With many
respects I'd like to see Colin tinker with the side and solve questions
about Nunez, Rodgers & Paynter.
In short I don't expect a result today and if we don't get one I think that
it'll be put to good use.
