aaah memories What good times the list has provided....not just the entertaining mails but all the good deeds and friendliness. List Generousity more real than PC's virtual beer truck..obvioulsy Damian's beer truck....but the magnificence of Andy C sorting me and everyone out for the Play Offs not just getting the tickets but distributing them all round wembley (and who seemed most offended when I offered more than face value) Thanks Andy. And all who have helped out with tickets, and transport. Especially Simon Hart (?), Glenn/Glynn. and all you others. Fun at away matches: JoKing in Dublin, the Brennans in Newcastle, Gav all over the place. The Lards episodes..the brilliant ubiquitous gargantuan Betty, the zany Wiggy, all lards, lardettes - some who are so different in person: scratching shed RAD, Humphries. Those pre match list meets at the adelphi...wonderful for the long term ex pat to find a bunch of mates (actually how sad is it that i regularly tell folk "my mates are saying x y z" and I'm talking about you lot). The benelux lusc days and the amazing and unrelentingly helpful if accident prone Guy. typing out irc commentaries was a serious duty in ths household...even when there were only 2 or three of us (me, jezza and a couple of bots) left. Only a fraction but like Andy says, the list will continue and this happy sentimental period of nostalgia is lovely!
I reckon the POs are just about in our hands. I think if Hull and Brum can get a draw somewhere then, we can guarantee ourselves a place with the points they'll take off each other and we'll take off them. Boro (cardiff, hull, brighton) and Brighton (Boro and Brum) results will have a big impact on it all. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
