really, would you prefer us to have lost 1-0 yesterday? If so it must be a strange feeling - I support a player in white who gives 100% regardless of their limitations, and lets face it for the majority of the last 40 years most have had serious limitations, so its very simple for me. I think everyone agrees Becchio is not premiership class, but neither are 90% of players in the championship, but he does what he does with conviction and passion. He's about the only successful player we have had where there hasn't been some contract problem reported, maybe he's just got brilliant agent, but I suspect he appreciates he is at big club already and has committed himself to us rather than sniffing around Delia's arse. I can understand disliking a player like Roque Jr who took the money but contributed nothing, but Becchio is a good championship player and we would be a poorer team without him and with the takeover a non-event we are stuck with him, wouldn't your Saturdays' be h appier if you could just accept that? I think its fair to call becchio a successful player cos he's scored so many goals and seems to have come back from last seasons injury pretty well. I bet Jabba could tell us where he stands in all time Leeds strikers goals per game ratio and I suspect it would be high. ttfn Richard _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
