Well, since this list seems full of technical expertise, I too have a problem:
I have an iRiver MP3 player which is 7 years old, and the hard disk still has about 25% free space. A few days ago, I bought two downloads from Amazon: a single track and a whole album. They played fine on my PC, and I sync'd up my music folder with my iRiver using Jukebox Synchroniser - all things I've done for years with no problem. However, whilst the single track played fine, the album would not play. Each track title came up on the display with a running time of 00.00, and then it went to the next track, and so on. I have compared the album files with the single track, and they are identical in properties, and no encryption shows up. I phoned Amazon, who were very helpful, but after about 30 mins I had to agree with them that the problem must lie with the iRiver and not the tracks themselves (which play fine on the PC when I attach the iRiver as a device).
