Sadly I'm on Nigel's side of the fence. I could never have imagined not taking my kids to see Leeds play, but the Bates/Wise scenario, the utter lack of ambition, even allowing for the near-bankruptcy, and the arrogance that sees them think they can charge £30 ish to watch sh*te means I may never actually go again.
Like Nige, I follow the Rhinos more, went to Wemberlee glory-hunting (with the almost certain fact we'd lose!!!), and feel a part of it, like I once did at Leeds in all those years I bought a season ticket etc. OK, I'm a grumpy old so and so, and Ridsdale conveniently co-incided with marriage/kids etc, but the soul has gone from LUFC. It could be resurrected, but will take some doing. I suspect the takeover will not be the cash-cow everyone has hoped for - if they were cash-heavy they wouldn't be so concerned about any potential skeletons as much as they are? What they need to do is make the fans feel they're not being screwed - that will be a start!
