OK, I'm a grumpy old so and so, and Ridsdale conveniently co-incided with marriage/kids etc, but the soul has gone from LUFC. It could be resurrected, but will take some doing. I think this is a football wide issue, not just LUFC. Firstly, we are all older too and things get put in perspective a bit more, once you have kids, get older etc. I'm no longer fuming for days if we get beat 4-3 by Newcastle after being 3-1 up (Christ was I in a bad mood that weekend!)Secondly, it's just not as fun anymore, the money and telly and corporate boxes and all that shite has ruined the game, it's a disney version of what it used to be. I mean there was a lot wrong with the old days, with the racism and violence and all that but the actual game of football is just a watered down version of what it used to be, you're barely even allowed to make contact anymore, Norman Hunter wouldn't have been on the pitch for more than 5 mins a game! Bah humbug, kids these days!
