I recall having an argument about irony in comedy with Maggie Barber in a pub 
in Southampton (after a game at St Mary's) when a chant of "I'd rather be a 
Paki than a Turk" broke out. Given that racism is no longer a problem, they 
must have been trying to join in the discussion...
