Mmmmm... I think Mcallister signed him and gave him a chance. Grayson had Beckford and allowed Becchio to play second fiddle for a while. I think he struggled with him after that dropping him regularly.
Colin inherited him and his reputation. Despite all Colin's geeing up comments on his arrival I think it's clear that Colin was planning for his replacement. He had dropped him a few times. I think the transfer request is a Godsent for him. So yes they all saw something in him but all realised his limitations. I really hope he goes to Norwich - ill be tuning in to their games. It'll be fucking hilarious.
