>I'd like to review your predictions and give an assessment of how many you

you just sit on the fence and point out when other people are wrong. Nowt
wrong with that I suppose but this is football and >its all about opinions,
isn't that the point of the list ?

fair comment, I am rubbish at analysing a game of football or anything
nonleeds related - except I "hate" them all, but I do have an opinion on
most Leeds Players and Becchio, it is clear as the nose on my face is a 100%
committed, feisty, physical player, who scores loads of goals DESPITE his
obvious limitations. Your hatred for him defies logic as there have been
many worse players to wear a Leeds shirt.

>We have played without him on a few occasions this season - Spurs at home,
Soton at Home and Brum away (FA Cup), arguable 3 of our best >performances.

Southampton I'll give you, IMHO Brum we were abysmal in the first half and
merely better than a terrible team in the 2nd.

Everton & Huddersfield have got to be up there as 2 of the best and becchio
played both.

>>Our goals against Spurs were a breath of fresh air, balls played behind
their defence with our players taking it on a >finishing spectacularly.

As for Spurts, - watch the highlights on LUTV - yes we beat them and the
team put in a battling performance than impressed me and made me proud, but
if they had taken any of the dozen good chances they would have at least got
a draw, if Becchio had been playing for them he'd have got a hatrick ;) I
think our goals came from hoofs forward one of which was nicely laid on by
Diouf, although he might not have meant it- now you which you choose to
characterise those as " balls played behind their defence" but if Becchio
had got on the end they would have been lucky hoofs I guess - that's what
opinions are all about!

> Becchio has never scored a goal like that.

I don't have an encyclopaedic memory of his goals, but the one against
Chelsea was pretty decent, and his one against Middlesboro was pure class,
but its true he is mainly a penalty box poacher, nothing wrong with that.

>So in summary, I think we'll benefit from his departure and will be a
better side without him. Good luck to him but let's be honest, he's >going
to fail big time. - you check that prediction Rich in a few months. I look
forward to your assessment.

Well, of course you will be right eventually and he will fail somewhere,
theta the benefit of being a cynic. But lets devise some parameters for
your prediction; How many appearances do you think he'll make before then
end of the season and how many goals ("easy" penalties included) do you
think he'll get?
