I can easily think of 100 reasons to condemn any leader of the Catholic
so-called church, several of which are enumerated by Senor Woodmansey.

However, the fact that he is Argentinian and/or his views on the Malvinas
is/are certainly not amongst them.

How totally not surprising it is that apologists for the so-called
Falklands are now relentlessly churning out the results of the ridiculous
referendum that was recently held there. The only thing that is less
surprising was the result of the vote. Who would have thought that 100s of
British people transported across the globe and parachuted onto a remote
island would vote in favour of retaining their British citizenship? What's
next............a referendum among the inhabitants of Israel's West Bank
settlements asking them if they would like to become Palestinian citizens
or remain Israelis?..............why not have a vote amongst season ticket
holders from the Revie Stand on whether Leeds should officially become a
feeder club for Manchester United?

I believe that there was an element of this knee-jerk anti-Argentine
attitude in the criticism of a certain recent player of ours (who also,
like the twat in Rome, had more than enough other negative characteristics
to be attacked over without having to include such a non-issue.)
