Who would have thought that 100s of British people transported across the globe and parachuted onto a remote island would vote in favour of retaining their British citizenship? What's next............a referendum among the inhabitants of Israel's West Bank settlements asking them if they would like to become Palestinian citizens or remain Israelis?..............why not have a vote amongst season ticket holders from the Revie Stand on whether Leeds should officially become a feeder club for Manchester United?
