Excuse my ignorance (honest), but what's the difference between Northern Soul and say listening to Motown, Jackie Wilson etc?
Or rather, what are the emblematic Northern Soul tunes that are not your regular Motown etc? Anyone have an eclectic playlist at hand...? Also - and I may get stoned to death by The People's Front of Judea for this one - but is/was there much overlap with the mod scene? God bless this list (given that the shower we follow are shit)!
