I'm a big fan of TMBTC, but have to declare an interest - we helped develop the brand and designed the website and menus.
One thing to remember though, Michael O'Hare is a Boro fan and business partners with Giggs and Gary Neville. Might leave a sour aftertaste… Another decent place for meat and wine is Stockdales, opposite Ambiente on East Parade. Yorkshire sourced food, meat aged in their own facility in the cellar and a decent wine list.
