I'm a big fan of TMBTC, but have to declare an interest - we helped develop the 
brand and designed the website and menus. 

One thing to remember though, Michael O'Hare is a Boro fan and business 
partners with Giggs and Gary Neville. Might leave a sour aftertaste…

Another decent place for meat and wine is Stockdales, opposite Ambiente on East 
Parade. Yorkshire sourced food, meat aged in their own facility in the cellar 
and a decent wine list.
