Agree with losing Wood late but I’m getting frustrated by Lasogga. He’s arrived with a reputation as a decent player but for me he gets bullied off the ball too easily. Yesterday there were several occasions where he didn’t even bother jumping for the header. Late on as we were pushing for the equaliser he was stood off side. I think we’re seeing why Hamburg weren’t playing him. Take your point about them working on things but comes back to my point about them not been good enough to play this way - I think Cooper and Pennington lack the skill to pass consistently to Lonergan’s left side.
