I love the Leeds salute in practice - it is something as far as I know, unique
to us . NO other club has anything similar, and I remember a City mate of mine
being well impressed seeing it in action in Portugal a few years ago - a lad
came in the pub with some Leeds badge - I gave and received back a Leeds salute
. My mate thought I knew the lad and did not believe the explanation.A couple
of days later in a different pub, a different lad came in with a Leeds shirt
and my City mate 'dared' me to do the 'secret sign'- I did with the same
result a salute back - City fan and some other lads with us very impressed
Having said all that I view it as a fans thing and not a 'club' thing and
should not really be on the actual players shirts (but I am more concerned with
the players than what they play in)

Quite like it mysen. Leeds salute is part of our history. I remember being in
many away end when someone spots someone in the home end doing a secret Leeds
salute. Minute later it kicks off.
Huddersfield was the classic. Their whole stand emptied.

Funny - they say they've consulted with over 10,000 fans. Yesterday was the
