Some responses fro me:
do exempt Forshaw from criticism, he battled hard and looked to be a good
acquisition
- Totally agree he looks a good skillful player. Good buy.
BUT it was final proof that Roofe will never make it at this level , no doubt
he will score 20 goals in each of the next few seasons but only if he drops
down a Division or probably two.
- I have been asking all season that he be played as a striker where he
played in League 1. However, he obviously cannot hack up top on his own.
Disappointing really.
Alioski is nowhere near good enough
- He is probably the biggest disappointment for me. I do credit his work
rate though, he worked his bollocks off today and at least seemed to be pissed
we were losing. But he doesn't seem skillful enough, is not fast enough and not
physically strong enough against championship players. Bit like Roofe really.
Hernandez is past it
- Feel this way too. He has not stepped up in Saiz's absence and he is a
liability defensively. Looks pretty at times but pretty ineffective most of the
other time.
Felix will never make it in England
- Feel this may be a bit harsh. Don't really think there was anything he
could have done today and he was our best player against Hull.
Lassogga could score goals but not when we do not play to his strengths and
finally
- Again agree get him the ball around the 18 and in the box think he will
score.
Vieirra may be the best young prospect we have had since Cook BUT he needs to
be much much more consistent
- Has been disappointing this season. What happened to the Vierra of the
Derby game last year?

Well that was as poor as it gets and it is season over -there is no coming
back from this one.For the second home game on the trot we conceded four goals,
for what feels like the fourth game on the trot we had a player taken off with
a bad injury, and for what feels like five out of six games we ended the game
with ten men.The highlight of the game for me was a steward throwing me a
packet of extra strong mints - yes it really was that bad with no redeeming
features at allThe big questions now are, who is to blame and, where do we go
from here - the answer to both these questions is "I have no idea"In the pub ,
pre game we talked about the new shirt badge, the under 23 purchases and when
we discussed the Cardiff game we all agreed that TC giving it out with his pre
match excuse that they were a big side with lots of tall players. Oh shit we
said he has put the fear of god up our own team and set them up to be bullied,
and so it proved as from first to almost last we were battered and knocked
around. They could have scored with the first free kick into our box and from
then on we struggled massively at all set pieces as our static keeper and pint
sized defenders failed to get to grips with themI can't be bothered to go
through the goals but the game was soon out of reach as we went in 3 down and
down to ten men - no chance here of a Millwall type near 'victory from the jaws
of defeat'It was almost fitting that our goal came from ex favourite Sol Bamba
as he turned a half decent cross into his own net- the highlight of our
attacking play. This apart we had one decent shot from Lassogga that was well
saved and his other shot came thundering off the bar only for Alioski to miss
when it was the proverbial 'easier to score' chanceWe really were awful and
nothing the players or manager did made any real sense - bad positioning, bad
passing , bad control, bad decision making and bad substituions I did stay to
the final whistle but I was in a minority and I suspect a decent sized number
will not be returning for the next home game as this game and the whole season
went up in smoke - all our early hopes dreams and expectations came crashing
down againI do excempt Forshaw from criticism, he battled hard and looked to be
a good acquisition BUT it was final proof that Roofe will never make it at this
level , no doubt he will score 20 goals in each of the next few seasons but
only if he drops down a Division or probably two. Alioski is nowhere near good
enough, Hernandez is past it, Felix will never make it in England and we cannot
afford to play with ten men v eleven. Lassogga could score goals but not when
we do not play to his strengths and finally , Vieirra may be the best young
prospect we have had since Cook BUT he needs to be much much more consistent So
to sum up - this was a dreadful performance from start to finish and was, in
effect, the end of the season for us - the play offs are just a dream now.Can
TC do it ? I am not sure, should we sack him ? I am not in favour of chopping
and changing but I really cannot see him offering us anythingVery disappointed
and disillusionedDave
