I should imagine that PH understands who make the decisions and what they want. And he will make his choices accordingly. The cooperate line is consistent. To bring along the juniors at their pace. Meanwhile, test who of the seniors stays. Then decide who to buy. If I am correct, the last game will be more a last chance than a test bed. Raz has shown his methods and stick to his guns. Public opinion doesn't sway him. Let's see

For me I think we have to |give Heckingbottom a chance - he inherited a losing side (although paradoxically |not one that was losing as much as under him!), a pitiful bunch of first teamers |with some prima-donnas to boot, he came with all the baggage of being a |Leeds-hater, and he's had to deal with a crippling injury list. That said, it's |difficult to see any discernible difference since he came, aside from |experimenting with players in different position (presumably to see if they're as |sh*t there too!!), and there has been zero/little progress. The blooding of a |couple of juniors might be the only positive. He did talk the talk after the |Norwich game, and he is 100% correct that players have to want it and actually |compete - for a Leeds player that has to be a given! |So, hopefully he'll have a plan re players, get them in early, and let's see what |he's made off. I reckon by Game 10 of next year we'll have a clearer idea of |whether we have a workable manager, or another dud, in which case it will be |another dead season. To replace him now, and with who, seems daft to me - if |we'd waited until season-end to sack TC we might have been contemplating |League 1 football - I thought we played some of the worst football I've ever seen |under him! |As for ex-players, there is an obsession with getting people back, which makes |you wonder how blinkered fans knowledge really is? Aside from Milner or |Delph, who I don't see coming back any time soon (I wish), the rest are history. |Now is the time for Heck to bring in a new batch, hopefully promote some of our |yoof, and get a team that has got plenty to prove and has real ambition and |heart. In all honesty I don't think Radzinski has the money needed, unless we get |a back-hander in Myanmar, so this is going to be challenging. I suppose we |should be grateful that the club doesn't currently appear to be on the edge of a |financial precipice, but we still need someone with more money than sense to |come along! |John | | From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> | To: Leeds List <[email protected]> | Sent: Sunday, 29 April 2018, 10:08 | Subject: Re: [LU] Norwich | |Massive decision and one they really need to get right - make the wrong choice |and it is yet another season that will be wastedThe big question is 'is he good |enough' ? It is hard to say how much of our decline is down to him or down to |the players making individual mistakes etc.Certainly the statistics since he joined |make for pretty poor reading - they are awfulalso he has done nothing to bring |any of the young players through - in some ways quite the reverse failing to take |advantage in the last few games of a 'dead season' - to then drop O'Connor |yesterday (especially following his own goal in the last game) is hard to |understand, and his public blaming of Pearce yesterday is akin to the Warnock - |Tom Lees disaster. At the same time we have been beset with injuries and |suspensions and individual errors in games that have cost us - but he has failed |to sort out the losing mentality or give us a real football identity | |One final point - what is Leeds fans obsession with ex players ? Over the years |we have wanted so many players back - ffs I have even seen calls for Beckford to |come back - and now the internet is going into overdrive over bringing Bartley |back! Whilst I would have loved to have kept him this season and think he would |have made a massive difference I do not think a recall is the right thing to do |Dave | | | | From: Ben Thorpe <[email protected]> | To: {broken-address} Richard Walker <[email protected] |broken.gn.apc.org>; Ted <[email protected]> |Cc: leedslist <[email protected]> | Sent: Saturday, 28 April 2018, 22:34 | Subject: Re: [LU] Norwich | |He's got until October for me.
