My brother lives near carcassonne as well. It seems to me all the dregs of the UK drift down thru France and then just butt up against the pyrenees. And gave one to my brother (who lives in Carcassonne nowadays) last Christmas which is still working well without any maintenance after a year. Plus, you get the usual apps (such as Netflix) in a handy format, if prepared to stump up a few quid per month. Takes someone knowledgeable to set them up, but easy enough to use (assuming you think Kodi is easy to use - I can't get my wife to get the hang of it).
