Pompey has just tweeted that Brentford are about to sign Jansson. Phil Hay said earlier that he was expected to join another English club for £5.5m and Bielsa was on board. He had heard that the club aren’t happy with his attitude. I’m kind of torn. If Bielsa is ok with it, who am I to argue? On the other hand though, £5.5m seems cheap when he’s got 3 years left on his contract and why sell to a potential promotion rival? Looks like we’re faced with starting the season with Cooper and White. Hopefully we’ve got somebody lined up but I’m not holding my breath!
