Also, Anand is British Asian, so the context of visiting ER when the NF were 
active is more significant to him than perhaps it might be to people on here... 

(My wife is also British Asian, and the first time I took her to ER she was 
*terrified*, as her experiences of football crowds had been... not positive.)
