Miesler - 3Ayling - 3Dallas - 6Cooper - 4White -6Philips - 2Harrison -
2Bamford - 2Roberts - 2 Costa - 2Klich - 3
Meslier - bit unfair he had nothing to do and could do nothing on either shot.
Literally a passenger.
Harrison - Yes he did hit the first man a few times but he also put in some
good balls in the right areas but Bamford is making weird runs or Roberts is
outside the box.
Klich - He was poor...and got annoying as the game went on as he got pissy
rather than trying to turn the games around.
Phillips - the hero-worship needs to stop. He is a good player, but
international midfielder? God no.... And once he lost the ball he just strolled
back.
Pablo - had the worst game of all. WTF is he getting injured for. We missed him
badly.
I think we just needed to play a bit quicker which we do when we are at our
best. It was all a bit lethargic. Cardiff just had to sit back really (but even
then we should have scored from Harrison if Bamford had not got in the way.) I
also think we should have had at least one penalty for the push on Costa
first-half.

I was pretty disappointed with our performance and despite having our usual
70% of possession I don't think we would have scored if we were still playing
now. All our forward players were powder puff:
Bamford just continued where he left off, a player who plays on the periphery
of the game but when he does get involved he fucks up. He's now added
clearances for the opposition defence to his game. What a player.
Costa started on the wing again and he got into some good positions but his
final ball is non-existant and he looks like he's shooting through treacle. He
moved into the centre second half and again saw a lot of the ball but he failed
to do anything constructive with it. I keep saying to myself that he's a good
player and will come good eventually but maybe I'm wrong and he is actually
shit ?
Harrison - after listening to the Don Goodman banging on about how he's impoved
this season, Harrison treated us to a performance that was worse than some of
the drivel he served up last season. Time and time again his cross never
managed to beat the first blue shirt. Very frustrating.
Roberts - he's having a laugh. A couple of fancy foot juggles doesn't represent
a good performance. He never got a hold of the game and in the end was just a
passenger. I'd play him up front instead of Bamford and play Gotts or Shack in
midfield in the absence of Pablo. But that might not fit with Bielsa's rigid
master plan.
The others were equally poor with a special mention for Philips who looked flat
footed and clueless. His freekicks and corners were terrible and he plodded
around the pitch like he'd spent the last 3 months on his arse watching
Netflix. Maybe he has ?
The passing around the back is frustrating at the best of times but when it's
being done by players who are unable to pass a 10ft pass to team mate (Cooper)
then it's gonna put you on the back foot.
Finally, the young keeper. He didn't have much to do other than pick the ball
out of the net twice but he's not inspiring me with confidence.
Got to do better next Sat ....

Subs: Can't remember a single contribution by any of them other than Allioski
shot into Row Z.
p.s. doesn't it piss you off to hear Don Goodman and Mick McCarthy bang on
about how good we are, how well we are playing and how unlucky we are. It's
nonsense.
