you say Cardiff offered nothing but that actually scored 3 goals and had
another couple of good chances which shows how fragile our defence is at the
moment.
Credit to Marsch though for actually picking a strong side and going after them
which has worked well because everyone goes into the Brentford game with our
tails up. That's how you should treat these cup games, not putting U-23s in ,
losing, then suffering for weeks because of it which is what we have done for
the last 10+ years.
Having said that I think Marsch was forced to pick a strong team as his job is
on the line.
Interesting team selection dilemma for Sunday. Nice to have but you surely
can't ignore Bamford who looks sharp after his recent op.

This was a game we were always in control of, from Willie's stormer in the

They were dreadful and offered almost nothing but you can only beat what is in

created other chances as well. Gnonto is looking amazing, Rodrigo scored one

It was great to see paddy back, taking his 2 goals with style. Sinisterra also

So overall an excellent performance, which keeps Jesse in a job till Sunday at
least
Shame we could not keep a clean sheet, we got lucky with the offside call at
3-0 but then Ayling let the ball through him for thier first , and then they
got a penalty ( var wrong for the second time in the game - offside player not
interfering so that should have stood and ball hit Roca rather than the other
way round.
So a fun night, but Sunday is when Jesse's future will be decided. Play like
we did last night and we will create and score chances but how many do we need
to score to win ? We keep conceding 2 per game including against a Cardiff side
who cant even score in the championship
