I would read David Conn on this, I don't think Covid has had much to do with it, more like off-shore banking business and a useless EFL process for deciding who can play about with football clubs on a whim or a fancy... Others may be in trouble because of Covid but I do not think Wigan can really claim this. The decision to go into administration at a very suspicious time is what worries me. Hang on to Championship status by not getting relegated, even with a 12 point deduction which is a possibility or go down and start the season with minus 12 points?
