Daft enough ( or just missing lufc?) to get up a 5am to watch the game Decent enough , we look disjointed at times but with 5 players who were not at ER last season - Adams, Aaronson, Roca, Christensen snd leif Davies, what do you expect Ref appalling - gave them a penalty when did not even touch his hand but Mes rescued us with amazing double save and then another when Watkins clean through. Adams and Roca both look decent - Bamford feeding on scraps, James can’t finish ( who knew) - Villa very ‘ robust ‘ at times Ok game after slow start 0-0 at half time , about fair though they shading it with a settled side Lots of subs expected at ht and later but reasonable performance though never like to read anything into pre season friendlies - we battered Blackpool but looked dodgy in win v Roar. We are defending corners well ( kiss of death?) Dave
