It’s still beyond me how we didn’t get a penalty, and how that lanky twat at the back stayed on the pitch - when on a yellow card there were 3 more bookable challenges!
I can accept that referees don’t see everything, but he was staring right at the Rodon incident - it's hard to understand how that guy is an actual referee. He made some really bad decisions, for and against us, and I hope we don’t get him again anytime soon. I thought Bamford had a great game too - he doesn’t get nearly enough credit for the work he does, and keeping him fit is absolutely critical! I even, and I almost can’t believe I’m saying this, enjoyed Firpo’s contributions. He’s not much of a defender for sure, but going forward he is pretty handy and puts in some excellent crosses, usually with so much pace on them anything could happen! Like Dave said, Summerville needs a turn of fortunes - he gets kicked - a lot, but his final shot and giving away cheap possession is infuriating, as were his dead-ball ‘contributions’. He just seems to have his head down at the moment - maybe he’s sulking because like the rest of the team he hasn’t got a new baby on the way :-) Looking at Dan James I recognised those bags under the eyes :-) One final point - we need to start taking more chances - all season our goal difference has been like an extra point, but with Ipswich closing the gap after getting 6, we need to become far more ruthless!
