To hit the bar 3 tines in first 7 minutes with Gnohto Ampadu and then a Greuv
free kick had the deja vu nerves kick in, but then Struik , surprisingly, took
and scored a penalty to give the pre match 3 or 4 0 predictions credibility.
Then awful defending and worse goal keeping let them back in. Then a poor
defensive header by Rodon - i was taught as a kid to head it away from goal not
back into the centre led to a worldie and a deficit at ht.Gnoto sorted that out
within seconds of the restart, an otherwise impressive Joseph missed a chance,
and an even more impressive Georginio mussed an easier one. Lots of subs messed
up the formation a bit as they wasted time. Bamford blew his lines with a
poorly direc5ed header and we drifted to 2 2Then in time added on , disaster
ascwe gave awsy a pen that they fired home Lots left believeing we would lose
Cue aaranson, brought on to a few boos, but redeemed himself with the
equaliser. Or at least he could have done if he had not then missed an easy
one on one which would have tutned 2 3 to 4 3 .Like i said, crazy, a really mad
game but we did get a point Joseph and Georginio outstanding but we had issues
in midfield, defence and putting it in the netFirst game so plenty to go but
it was fun in an odd way
