I also thought we missed a trick in not getting the ball out to James more once Ogilvie had been booked early in the second half. The Pompey full-back wasn't even close to matching James for pace, so would have had to keep fouling James or let him run by. Trying to look for some positives after a game which was so like the S/land and B/burn home games at the end of the season which cost us promotion..........so here goes: We all said we had to improve on our set pieces this season, and inside the 1st 10 mins we hit the bar from a corner then hit the post from a freekick (although I admit we must have had 10 more corners at least and did not threaten at all.) One of the big questions today was WILL WE MISS S/VILLE? Well, much as I love the kid, I have to admit I didn't miss him at all when we had freekicks!
