Personally i would have said that Bakke was head and shoulders above every other player on the pitch. He was always in space when we were going forward (sadly he didn't always get a pass as the ball was lumped forward) and his first touch was excellent throughout , as was his distribution. He also showed the rest of the midfield how to beat a couple of men , which he did on several occasions. I thought Derry had a better game than recently but it was more due to Bakke that he looked good. I can understand why people like Derry (he gets stuck in , runs around etc) but he is seriously limited as a footballer. He first touch is average at best as is his passing. I still don't understand how douglas has been picked ahead of bakke for so long. If derry is limited , douglas is worse , much much worse. He has no touch whatsoever and his passing is woeful. Coupled with his lack of pace it makes the complete non-package. Crainey was again a complete liability. I reckon we'd be better off with ten men than having him in the team!
