Agree with all of that Macca.
Bakke was far and away our best midfielder.

Personally i would have said that Bakke was head and shoulders above every
other player on the pitch. He was always in space when we were going
forward (sadly he didn't always get a pass as the ball was lumped forward)
and his first touch was excellent throughout , as was his distribution. He
also showed the rest of the midfield how to beat a couple of men , which
he did on several occasions. I thought Derry had a better game than
recently but it was more due to Bakke that he looked good. I can
understand why people like Derry (he gets stuck in , runs around etc) but
he is seriously limited as a footballer. He first touch is average at best
as is his passing.
I still don't understand how douglas has been picked ahead of bakke for so
long. If derry is limited , douglas is worse , much much worse. He has no
touch whatsoever and his passing is woeful. Coupled with his lack of pace
it makes the complete non-package.
Crainey was again a complete liability. I reckon we'd be better off with
ten men than having him in the team!
