well Mr Shed, exactly what did they do very very badly?  Sure the process
was not smooth and hopefully lessons will be learnt for next time but it
seems to me the main problem was the headless chicken attitude of some
supporters.  This was exemplarised by some of the postings on the list - I
have no doubt some fans were already writing the death threats to cuddly
ken, blackie and the club cat before we all calmed down.  

When commenting on the sale of tickets on eBay the club have stated:

"These tickets must have been purchased by either season-ticket holders or
members. One of the reasons that the processing of applications took time
was that each individual seat detail sold was recorded so that the club
could identify the purchaser, if required."

so perhhaps the delays were a combination of forward planning by the club,
panic and bad behaviour by some fans by pushing in and screwing up the
queing system?
