Shhhhhhhh We were hoping that this could be kept secret. The location of the training ground was selected because of the easy transport to Menwith Hill (a well known American weather station) and the British Library which has been constructed to look like a fortress in order to protect all of the books which it stores. Over the road we have a highly secure faciltiy which we have disguised as a prison. Lets be perfectly clear. There are no causes for anybody to question the goings on which surround Leeds United. Monte Carlo (sometimes refered to as Monaco) is of course nothing to do with Spies and all that sort of thing. This is the stuff of James Bond fantasies. In reality Thorpe Arch is a quiet sleepy little place where you can't get planning permission to build luxury houses on football pitches. The restrictions on night flights from Bradford International Airport are only there so that local residents may sleep more soundly. There may be noisy flights in the middle of the night but these are only flights which have been delayed for operational reasons. There are no direct flights to the Caribbean, no matter what the flight departures indicator might show when it malfunctions.
