I can't really speak to Rugby League at all.? I have never seen it played in
the US (unlike Union, which IS played and which I played a bit of in College)
and can't remember seeing it more than once or twice on television.? My
impressions of League based on those couple of viewings were:? (1) it looked a
heck of a lot like a sport where you run into a brick wall, wait for the wall
to move back ten yards, rinse, repeat...and (2) it seemed like an intermediate
step between Rugby Union and American Football, lacking the delicious
complexities of both.? That said, go back to my first point:? I have an
inadequate pool of experience with the Code to form anything more than first
impressions.

just for us dyed in the wool RL types, could you please explain how this
thinking applies to the ruck, and as for the formation flying techniques
practiced during a line out it just looks a bit daft.?
?
I am a bradford bulls fan trapped in the union stronghold of worcester, I have
been to see the warriors play (free tickets) and am baffled, once I even went
home early from a corporate hospitality event as I was bored by the play.?
?
I am not saying that one is better than the other but having seen both I prefer
league to union.?
?
Cheers?
?
Chris?
?
BDTR merchandise is available on ebay (sorry, mr listowner about the blatant
advertising)?
