I played football quite a lot; I've never played rugby - I'm too much of a molly-coddled weakling - but I do enjoy watching RU. Funnily enough, I had even forgotten England were playing football on Saturday, until I dashed into the kitchen to make myself something to eat and switched on the radio. Instead of the rugby, there was the football, so when I went back into the lounge, I turned over to watch the football. Despite the fact that England were playing OK and actually winning, within 2 minutes I'd turned back to watch the rugby - it was so much more entertaining. Personally, I don't really like RL - for me, it's like the rugby equivalent of 6-a-side football, or the cricket equivalent of one-day: yes, there's more "action", ie. more tries, more goals, more runs, etc, but.....
