Support the Dorf and Beautyware workers!
At risk of losing their jobs, with the companies planning to relocate
production elsewhere, the workers who are AMWU members, have not been
offered relocation nor proper redundancy packages, instead the companies
are simply trying to get rid of them. In Newcastle, Dorf has been
advertising for a new workforce.
The Dorf workers have been picketing the plant for several weeks, with the
Beautyware picketline set up last Friday 9 July. Dorf and Beautyware
manufacture taps, sinks, washbasins and so on. Boycott their products
until workers' jobs are secure or proper redundancy arrangements agreed to
by the companies.
Attend the Family Day on Sunday 18 July, 12 - 3 pm at 92-102 Keys Rd,
Moorabbin, location of the Beautyware picketline. BBQ and Bands,
Facepainting for the kids.
