Picnic at the West Barwon Dam In the Otway State Forest

Say no to logging in Domestic water catchments

Sunday 15th august 1999 11.00am West Barwon Dam wall

Over 270,000 people depend on drinking water from Otway catchments.  The 
picnic will be held at the West Barwon Dam wall starting at 11 am. There 
will be a group discussion about the impact clearfell logging has on 
domestic water supply followed by a discussion about the Regional Forest 
Agreement (RFA). Following the talks there will be easy afternoon walks to 
inspect logging coups completed and proposed within the catchment

Toilets and water are available at West Barwon Dam wall. Limited free gas
BBQ's are also available

What to bring

Cut lunch and or BBQ food (BYO). (also bring own drinks)
Wet weather gear/warm jumper (Otway is the wettest place in Victoria).
Musical instruments/ football/frizby etc.
Walking boots if going on long walk.
