McPROTEST!

Following up on our protest against Olympic sponsor and World
Economic Forum member Nike - where we presented them with a gold
medal for exploitation and occupied the Nike Shop - CACTUS has called
a "McProtest" against Nike's fellow corporate tyrant and Olympic sponsor,
McDonald's.
Like the protesters against the World Economic Forum in Davos,
Switzerland, who trashed the local Maccas, and the farmers in Millau,
France, who did like-wise, CACTUS sees McDonald's as a prime target
for anti-corporate action.
The millions of dollars of profit McDonald's makes each year is a
direct result of their:
* relentless promotion of unhealthy "food"
* exploitation of their work-force and the
adoption of anti-union labour practices
* damaging of the environment
* cruel treatment of animals
* thoughtless destruction of local cultures
and communities
Come and protest against this Corporate Games sponsor and say no to
the tyranny of corporate interests...
