A year after the Bracks Labor government came to power and a month since
the events of S11, this forum examines the role of Labor before, during and
after the three day blockade.

Some of the issues dealt with will include; why did the ALP support the
brutal police actions and what is the state of legal proceedings against
them? What is Labor's position on "globalisation"? Has S11 increased
tensions between Labor and unions and have these events taken us closer to
a left alternative to the ALP? Speakers will introduce discussion on these
and related questions, all are welcome to this open forum.

Organised by the DSP, www.dsp.org.au
come along or call 9639 8622 for more information.
Dinner will be served at 6pm.
