The M1 Alliance is organising a diversity of actions on May Day 2001. The
focus is the Blockade of the Stock Exchange from 7am on Tuesday 1 May. In
the spirit of S11, the aim is to protest against corporate rule and as part
of the growing anti-capotalist movement, and to be part of an
international day focussing on resisting globalisation.

Pacific Region and the growing Resistance.

A variety of speakers from a cross section of Unions will be invited to
speak on the effect of globalisation within their particular sector or
industry and ideas on how to resist it.Discussion will follow. There will
be an introduction from an M1 Alliance speaker.
