Hello Roger If you are talking about an elliptical turning jig like what an Ornamental lathe dose, Ive been working on this idea for a number of years. (Here is a good video on this topic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAoM-CRZBNY ) But sadly I have not been able so far to get the same type of attachment to work on my Legacy. But having said that, I have found out a number of different ways to make elliptical turnings using the Legacy in the past. So you have stated, templates work well on the Legacy, (form both the template follower, and well as using a template following router bit and using the Legacy like a Pin router...)
