Happy New Year all you wood shredders!

 

I have a question not LOM related. While shopping, my better half found a 
candle holder that would hold numerous candles(3). The holes are conical shaped 
and the sides are slanted to the base, paralleling the holes.

Does any body know how those tapered holes were bored. She's after me to make a 
few for gifts!
