Because Rubio Monocote needs to be rubbed in and buffed I don’t believe its ideal for many Legacy “turnings” where it will build up in the recesses but more ideal for flat surfaces, also for red cedar it would darken it. I was in Woodcraft Store in West Springfield, Massachusetts 2 weeks ago they stocked it and it’s pricy. There are so many finished out there that you need a PHD to even begin to sort them all out but after over 60 years of woodworking/woodturning experience I have a petty good handle on most of them.
