I'm running Legacy with Windows XP on my 10" Asus Eee PC (1gb RAM)
without any issue at all. It certainly runs as fast, if not faster,
than my 1.8 ghz 1.5gb RAM desktop computer.

With a browser open and Legacy running, the CPU runs at 20% of its
capacity. So it has plenty of muscle to spare.
