I created a GEDCOM file to upload to Rootsweb and it's appearance is not
attractive.

When copying or entering information in either the Notes or Events Notes
field, I try to align all the data using Control+Tab to make the
appearance more attractive especially when printing books.

But in a GEDCOM file, it looks like this -

«u»«b»1861 Census of Canada«/u»«/b»
Name: «tab»«tab»Thomas H Northy
Gender: «tab»«tab»Male
Age: «tab»«tab»«tab»1
Birth Year: «tab»«tab»1860
Birthplace: «tab»«tab»Upper Canada
Marital Status: «tab»Single
Home in 1861: «tab»Smith, Peterborough, Ontario
Household Members: «tab»
Name «tab» «tab»Age

which is almost illegible.

Apart from using the Find - Replace function, how can I delete all this
tab mess? If it can't be automatically deleted, would it destroy the
functionality of the GEDCOM file if I manually deleted this garbage?
